Annotationen

Zwei Schwestern, Linda und Aisling Reynolds aus Liverpool. Sie drückten mit ihrem Song I'd Rather Jack das aus, was Pop in den 80er Jahren so bedingungslos modern machte. Jede Generation hievte ihre eigenen Popstars in den Himmel und sie interessierten sich nicht für die Stars von gestern. Dies war der Motor für eine ins System «Pop» eingebaute Veraltung, die bedingungslos und grausam voranschritt, jedes Jahr radikal Neues brachte und regelmässig die Altstars ausmusterte.
In ihrem Song kritisieren sie die Tatsache, dass Radio DJs älter sind als ihre Zielgruppe und Musik spielen, die ihrer Generation aber nicht den Jungen gefällt:
