Das Chance Album ist voller kritischer zeitgeschichtlicher Kommentare, Angst vor der Zukunft ist eines der Themen: Das erste Stück heisst: Das Lies (Through the 80s). Der Song Stranded hat keinen sehr deutlichen Text. Am Anfang hört man das SOS-Notrufsignal und eine britische (!) Wetterfunkstation. Der Text lautet: «Stranded in Iowa». Vielleicht, aber dies ist eine Mutmassung, spielt der Song an den Flugzeugabsturz am 3. Februar 1959 an, als die Musiker Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens und The Big Bopper ums Leben kamen.
