Der 13-minütige Track ist eine faszinierende Reise durch musikalische und kulturelle Themen unserer Zeit. Komponiert als Suite mit verschiedenen Teilen, findet man sich als Hörerin und Hörer bald in atmosphärische Ambients getaucht, bald von tief-melancholischen, wunderschönen Songs weggetragen.
Es gibt zwei Song-Passagen im Track, beide von simpeln und schweren Synth-Riffs dominiert. Im Outro spricht die Transgender-Filmmacherin Lana Wachowski über ihren Weg über heftige Selbstzweifel zur Selbstakzeptanz. Eine andere Stimme, die als diejenige der NASA-Wissenschaftlerin Melissa Dawson Higgins identifiziert wurde (siehe Pitchfork-Artikel), spricht wiederholt von etwas, das aus dem Weltraum auf die Erde herabkommt. Das Thema setzt am Anfang eine verzweifelte und entsetzte Stimme: «Excuse me, I'm lost». Eine andere, die von Michael Jackson später gegen Ende des Tracks auftritt, sagt: «You are not alone» (ein im Pitch verändertes Vocalsample von You Are Not Alone).
Die durch und durch Geisterhafte Atmosphäre hat eine spirituelle Qualität, die vom Tracktitel Come Down to Us
