Die Aerovons kamen aus St. Louis, Missouri. Ihr Songwriter und Gitarrist, Tom Hartman war 17-jährig als die Gruppe 1969 extra nach London reiste, um in den Abbey Road Studios diese Single und die Tracks für ein Album einzuspielen. Das Album kam erst 2003 als Archivrelease heraus.
Der Song eifert hörbar den Beatles nach, aber auch den Bee Gees.
